Fans can listen to the studio's founder/producer Chips Moman talk about what it was like inside the studio when Elvis recorded hits such as "Suspicious Minds" and "In The Ghetto." Moman also talks about the many musical greats who recorded in this studio and how they set the tone for Elvis' return to Memphis to record. Fans can also hear rare outtakes from Elvis recording session at the studio. A staple of Memphis music history, the studio was located on 827 Thomas Street. American Sound produced over 100 hit songs from artists such as Elvis, Aretha Franklin, Neil Diamond, Dusty Springfield, B.J. Thomas, The Box Tops and many other music legends.
