In this week's Graceland podcast, Elvis Presley Enterprises' Alicia Dean and Kevin Kern talk about Elvis Week 2014 tickets now available to the general public. The duo share details about the new Elvis A Cappella Shows - a 60-minute Elvis show featuring some of the country’s top a cappella groups - Kentucky's Acoustikats, Florida State University's All-Night Yahtzee, The James Madison University BluesTones, the Vanderbilt Melodores, and Memphis' own Briarcrest OneVoice. We also talk about a new hotel being built here at Graceland and share some details around the recent announcement. Fans can also learn more about helping Elvis' birth town of Tupelo, MS - where a recent tornado destroyed the northern part of the city. The podcast team looks at some new additions now on display at Graceland. In appreciation for the millions of dollars in relief following the east Japan earthquake, Motohiko Kato, Consul General of Japan in Nashville, along with a Japanese delegation, demonstrated their appreciation to Memphis by offering a gift of three Somei Yoshino Cherry Trees from Japan. Also, hear more about a recent visit from rock band The Zombies and how Graceland continues to root for the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2014 NBA Play Offs.
