Jim talks with Alicia about what it's like to be an Elvis Radio DJ, how he got this job and the special experiences he has had over the years. Jim gives us an insight into working with George Klein, the fans he has met throughout the years and how he is a true Elvis fan himself. Alicia and Jim discuss also Elvis and how he still influences people today.

In this week's Graceland podcast, Elvis Presley Enterprises’ Alicia Dean brings on a special guest co-host from the Tunica Convention and Visitors Bureau, Webster Franklin. Webster and Alicia discuss the upcoming events taking place in and around Tunica, MS including the third annual Blues Tweetup, which is a music pilgrimage to the Birthplace of America’s Music. Blind Mississippi Morris is back in Tunica, Mississippi, just down the road from Graceland, for another great evening of live blues music. Alicia also gives an update about what's new around Graceland during the month of October, including Graceland going pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Elvis Pumpkin Decorating Contest.

In this week's Graceland podcast, Elvis Presley Enterprises' Kevin Kern brings on a special guest co-host, Danielle Forbes from the Graceland Archives department. Kevin and Danielle discuss the brand new Archives Experience, where our VIP and Platinum Tour guests will enjoy a live presentation at our new Graceland Archives Studio. With two different shows every day, guests will have the opportunity to hear stories, see related items and learn more about the Graceland archives. Danielle also gives us a few hints about what artifacts you might see in the upcoming shows. She also brings out an artifact straight from the archives, but you can't touch!

In this week's Graceland podcast, Elvis Presley Enterprises’ Kevin Kern brings on a special guest co-host Jennie Bradford Curlee from the Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau. Kevin sits down with Jennie to discuss all things Tupelo, from how Elvis was influenced by the town he grew up in to new developments happening near the Birthplace. Jennie also explains the exciting new walking trail in Tupelo, where you will be able to walk from downtown Tupelo to the Birthplace, taking the same trail Elvis might have used a child.

In this week's Graceland podcast, Elvis Presley Enterprises’ Kevin Kern brings on a special guest co-host, Tim Sampson from Stax Museum here in Memphis, Tennessee. Kevin sits down with Tim to talk about all the new and exciting things going on at Stax. This must-see museum is right down the road from Graceland, and carries so much history within its walls. Everyone from Isaac Hayes to Sam & Dave to Otis Redding has recorded at Stax, but let's not forget about Elvis' recording sessions that have some great stories and also provided us with amazing music. Stax Records had such a soulful sound that everyone wanted to be a part of. Tim teases us with a little sneak peak of what's coming up at Stax, along with information on how you can get a private tour of the museum!

Kevin returns from the 20th Anniversary of the Collingwood Elvis Festival where he joined over 60,000 people in celebrating Elvis' life and career. Big enhancements for Graceland include a brand new 450-room hotel called The Guest House at Graceland, the new iPad tour here at Graceland and the state-of-the-arc Graceland Archives Experience. Fans can also learn more about what to expect at the first-ever Auction at Graceland taking place during Elvis Week. Next we look at the 60 Years Celebration here in Memphis, Tennessee and how Elvis fans helped honor the king's historic recording at Sun Studio. Backbeat Tours will offer the Hound Dog Tour on July 5 during the 60 Years of Rock 'n' Roll Celebration and each day during Elvis Week 2014. As unique as the man himself, the Hound Dog Tour takes a one-of-a-kind approach to sharing Elvis’ legacy in a high-energy concert and sightseeing tour all rolled into one.
