In this special edition of the Graceland podcast, Elvis Presley Enterprises' Kevin Kern and Elvis Radio's Big Jim sit down for an exclusive interview with Senior Vice-President of Warner Bros. Marketing George Feltenstein to talk about the upcoming release of "Elvis: That's The Way It Is" Deluxe Edition. Feltenstein describes the remastering of this set as a long labor of love which finally brings this incredible Elvis footage in the best video quality to date. The result of a historic partnership between Sony Music and Warner Brothers Home Video, the deluxe set combines the video and audio assets of "Elvis: That’s The Way It Is" with unique and previously unreleased material. The highly-collectible box set marks the first time the 1970 documentary and album have been available in a single package, with bonuses including unreleased material, remixed and remastered audio and a new 80-page book detailing the entire event with facts, songwriter and musician interviews, and photos in a deluxe 8CD/2DVD box set. In addition, Elvis fans can see the world premiere of "Elvis: That's The Way It Is - Special Screening" on August 16 at the historic Memphis Orpheum Theatre.

Newly announced guests include Chips Moman (Elvis Insiders Event), The Memphis Boys - Bobby Woods, Gene Chrisman and Reggie Young (Elvis Insiders Event, Memphis Boys Salute), Lowell Hays (Elvis Insiders Event), Joe Petruccio (Elvis Insiders Event) and Linda Deutsch (Fan Club Presidents' Event). They also briefly speak about life-long Elvis fan, Bruno Mars, recent visit while in Memphis to perform a concert. Lastly you will hear about the Elvis: That's The Way It Is" Deluxe Box Set, which will be released on August 5, 2014. This is considered the most ambitious Elvis Presley restoration package ever created, bringing together - for the first time ever - the album, the theatrical and home video versions of the film, six full-length concerts (featuring previously unreleased performances), rehearsal highlights and other rare recordings in one astounding and essential package.

Recently retired from Elvis’ Imperials, he will return to Elvis Week for a special on-stage guest appearance as well as join Terry Blackwood and The Imperials on Saturday, August 16, for a farewell performance during the screening of "Elvis: That’s The Way It Is" at the Orpheum.

In celebration, we shared the movie trailer on our social media platforms and named Elvis' co-star Ann-Margret as our featured #60Years artist! We also look at a brand new "Viva Las Vegas" 50th Anniversary Premium Digibook from Warner Bros. which will be available beginning August 12. In addition, we talk about upcoming Elvis festivals, including Elvis Week 2014! We've recently announced Joe Moscheo as a featured guest who will be giving his farewell performance at the world-premiere of "Elvis: That's The Way It is" at the Memphis Orpheum on August 16. First we look at some recent guests who toured Elvis Presley's Graceland last week, including some headliners at this year's Beale Street Music Festival. We also look at today's featured artist in our countdown to 60 Years of Rock 'n' Roll. Podcast listeners can hear an exclusive and rare audio clip of DJ Dewey Phillips - the first to play Elvis' "That's All Right" on his WHBQ "Red, Hot & Blue" radio show in July of 1954. In the clip, he talks about Elvis and how excited fans were to get an autograph. After airing Elvis Presley's first single on July 8, 1954, the switchboard lit up with requests. Phillips played the song on repeat for the remaining two hours of his show, while interviewing the shy 19-year-old Elvis. In addition, listeners can also check out a new article in PARADE Magazine featuring Elvis' hand-written letter to President Richard Nixon and find out more about purchasing tickets to Elvis Week 2014. The podcast duo talk about some new exciting events and the much-anticipated live performance from American Sound Studio's house band - The Memphis Boys.

The duo share details about the new Elvis A Cappella Shows - a 60-minute Elvis show featuring some of the country’s top a cappella groups - Kentucky's Acoustikats, Florida State University's All-Night Yahtzee, The James Madison University BluesTones, the Vanderbilt Melodores, and Memphis' own Briarcrest OneVoice. We also talk about a new hotel being built here at Graceland and share some details around the recent announcement. Fans can also learn more about helping Elvis' birth town of Tupelo, MS - where a recent tornado destroyed the northern part of the city. The podcast team looks at some new additions now on display at Graceland. In appreciation for the millions of dollars in relief following the east Japan earthquake, Motohiko Kato, Consul General of Japan in Nashville, along with a Japanese delegation, demonstrated their appreciation to Memphis by offering a gift of three Somei Yoshino Cherry Trees from Japan. Also, hear more about a recent visit from rock band The Zombies and how Graceland continues to root for the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2014 NBA Play Offs.

Tui appeared in "It Happened At The World's Fair" which was released nationwide on April 10, 1963. She spoke at the 40th Anniversary Celebration of "Aloha From Hawaii."
